Stage Manager (June-August 2023)

• Manage and run rehearsals and maintain rehearsal spaces.

• Maintain up to date rehearsal reports for director, playwright, and office manager

• Facilitate communication of schedules and notes between director, playwright, and actors

• Notate onstage and offstage happenings and manage them during rehearsals and performances

• Manage and coordinate actors and props during dress rehearsals and performances

• Provide operational support to the Theatre faculty and staff

• Assist with the maintenance and organization of the Theatre program areas

• Assist the Program Coordinator and the Production Manager with special assignments (ex. program events, recruiting, scheduling, marketing efforts, script management, etc.)

• Assist with filing and the archival of the Playmakers’ history

Theatre Scene Shop Assistant (January 2022-May 2024)     

• Assist in implementing set construction and painting for each production

• Lift large platforms and cuts of wood for transportation to other areas

• Collaborate with peers and theatre faculty to ensure timely completion of scenic elements for performance

• Help maintain an organized and clean shop

• Assist in returning the shared theatrical space and shops to neutral after each performance

Production Lead, Conference and Events (August 2023-May 2024)

• Lead and instruct Conference and Events student workers throughout the set-up and running of events

• Operate technical equipment as needed during events

• Maintain and restore event spaces

• Manage front-of-house operations for event upon request

• Assist instructor in creation and implementation of lesson plans

• Assist in grading student assignments

• Tutor and guide students at their request

• Contribute to meaningful discussion of the course’s special topic

• Lead class assignments and discussion at instructor’s request

• Offer customer service at library entrance and facilitate library loans

• Serve as liaison between university students, faculty, and library staff
